Adobe announces the availability of AIR 1.5 for Linux.Now web developers can use the AIR SDK to create applications that works on Linux,Mac & Windows without any changes.
Adobe as decided to foucus on three Linux open distributions – Ubuntu, Fedora & openSUSE

1. Adobe Flash Player 10 Capabilities – Support for custom filters, blend modes, and fills with Adobe Pixel Bender, Supports new 3D effects with perspective, transformations and animations for 2D & 3D.Improved Video Quality & support for Speex codec to deliver high quality audio at lower bandwidth
2. Webkit Updated includes Squirrelfish, Now run AIR applications 35% faster 
3. Encrypted local database now you can encrypt your local database with Adobe AIR 1.5, Quick start link available on the blog
